FAQ

Common Questions About Our Products

Q [Window Film] Why does window film bubble or turn purple?
A
Bubbling or purple film is a sign of a low-grade window film, where the mounting adhesive and dye components have deteriorated.
ULTRAFIT film is made with high-quality materials, featuring color-stable and advanced dye chemistries to ensure durability and performance.
Q [Window Film] Why do we use Nano particles?
A
Our nano carbon ceramic particles are smaller than 100nm, which makes the film much clearer.
Q [Window Film] How thick is the material?
A
All are 2 mil thick.
Q [Window Film] What factors affect TSER?
A
Infrared radiation and visible light are the two main factors that affect TSER. Together, they account for 93% of the total solar energy (infrared radiation: 49%, visible light: 44%).
Q [Window Film] What is TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejection)?
A
TSER is the percentage of total solar energy(UV, Visible light, Infrared radiation, etc) rejected by filmed glass. The higher this value, the less solar hit is transmitted.
Q [Window Film] What is IR rejection?
A
IR rejection refers to the percentage of solar infrared energy blocked over the wavelength range of 780 to 2,500nm. A higher value indicates less infrared energy is transmitted.

Q [Window Film] Does block UV rays help prevent fading and deterioration?
A
Yes. The same sun that brightens your car’s interior can be detrimental to fabrics, leather, dashboard, and other interior surfaces. Ultraviolet rays are the main cause of both fade and deterioration.
ULTRAFIT window films can screen up to 99% of the damaging UV rays that can fade surfaces.
Q [Window Film] Do I need to wait to roll my windows down?
A
We recommend that you leave your vehicle windows rolled up for at least 24-36 hours after window film has been installed. This allows the film to cure and adhere to the glass before the window is moved.
Q [Window Film] What are the benefits of window film?
A
The many benefits of window film include heat reduction, eye comfort, UV protection, aesthetics, and increased safety, privacy, and energy savings.
