A
WinCrest Clear & Nano Ceramic: both is okay, / WinCrest EVO: Only wet molding.
Q [Windshield Protection Film] What is the differences between hard type (PET-based)film vs soft type
A
Hard type film (WinCrest Clear and Nano) requires shrinkage similar to window film and takes 40 minutes to install. The soft type film (WinCrest EVO) does not require a heat gun and only take 15 minutes to install.
Q [Windshield Protection Film] How many layers does the film have?
A
All three films are singled-layered.



Q [Windshield Protection Film] How thick is the film?
A
WinCrest Clear and Nano Ceramic thickness is 4 mil, 100 microns. WinCrest EVO is 8mil, 200 microns.
Q [Windshield Protection Film] Does the WinCrest have a warranty
A
WinCrest Series is 6 months or 10,000km (6,000 miles), hassle free which will cover delamination, cracking, and peeling. 
*Please note that the warranty is not permanent : lifetime covers a period of 6 months up to 18 months or more, depending on the region and the level of maintenance.
Q [Paint Protection Film] What is your recommendation for tack solution?
A
Hot deionized water (DI), no alcohol recommended.
Q [Paint Protection Film] What is your recommendation for slip solution?
A
8ml of Johnson's baby shampoo per gallon of distilled water or 1.5-2ml per 32oz bottle.                                   
Color PPF: 6ml of Johnson's baby shampoo per gallon. (Measurements can be adjusted  according to personal preference)
Q [Paint Protection Film] What’s the different between color PPF (TPU) and vinyl wrap (PVC)?
A
While vinyl wraps typically lasts 1-2 years and may develop an orange peel texture, our color PPF offers a 10-year warranty, features a high-gloss top coating without any orange peel, and provides 
protection for the car. Color PPF pigments closely resemble those used in original car paint.
Q [Paint Protection Film] Can I put ceramic coating on it?
A
We do not recommend applying ceramic coatings on the film. 
Instead, we suggest using sealant or wax, avoid strong chemicals.



Q [Paint Protection Film] What is the tack (adhesive) like?
A
We use a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) in our films and the tack starts low and hardens as it cures.
